I will be moving to California sometime after November and was wondering if rabbits were included in pet deposits like cats and dogs are. Or is it just an apt by apt biases? I'd like to know if l have to find him a new home before l move.

Depends on the landlord. Some will not allow them at all, some will charge a deposit, and some consider them 'small caged animals' and allow them with no deposit. 'No pets' rentals usually do not allow rabbits at all.

Is a rabbit concidered a pet? If yes then your answer is yes. Most places dont concider birds and fish pets, I dont know why, they concider fur bearing animals pets,
