There is a lot to caring for a rabbit. I found this website to be very good

I would hardly consider any bunny that is kept outside in a hutch to be spoiled. Pet rabbits should always be house rabbits. They are just like a cat or dog that develops it is own personality, learns tricks, is litter trained, etc. It is sad that so many people do not realize this.
i have 3 outdoor spolied bunnies! I have a shed that my dad built for them and i keep the food, shavings, hay, ext. I feed my bunnies rabbit pellets in the morning i dont feed them to much cause that is how they will get fat and then i feed them vegtables at night. They have free choise hay all the time!!
your bunny really needs hay that is the most important part! please feel free to email me if you have any other questions at jenpandora1996aim.com thanks
umm..my bunnys are out side andi the summer they need alot of water! and food! they should have a hideing place in the cage! i could send you pics of my cages so email me!

You must make sure u live in an area with a temperate climate if u want to keep rabits outdoors. I live in the UK where it is okay to keep them in a hutch on the patio in the summer but the hutch must be moved inside a shed at other times & if the weather drops below freezing they must be bought inside the house.
The hutch must be really big & either be attached to a run or the rabbits must be put in a run or given the freedom of an enclosed garden daily. In the hutch all u really need is a water bottle, hay rack, food dishes & somewhere to hide. One part of the hutch must be enclosed & filled with alot of bedding (I used the shredded recycled paper bedding from the pet store). You can buy things for rabbits to climb on & balls too.
Rabbits should never be kept outside. Indoors only!

Since they r outside bunnies...
Bunnies can either live indoors or outside & this must be decided before the purchase of his hutch. If he is to live outdoors:
* The hutch must be weatherproof with an overhang to stop rain getting in.
* It should not rest directly on the ground; most outdoor hutches come with legs attached.
* The hutch should be positioned in a sheltered place, away from strong sunlight & winds.
* The doors must be secure to stop cats & other animals getting.
HOPE THIS HELPS!!!,
-Amanda
My rabbit LOVED shredded paper, she played with it all day. I am not sure if that will apply with all rabbits, i think my rabbit may have been a little crazy. GIve that a try.
