How do i get my dogs to stop killing rabbits in the backyard

Im having the same problem as you..i suppose the best thing to do is keep them inside and only take them outside to do their business or you can always fence them into a certain spot so they wont get out.

I know a few people who would love to buy them from you just the way they are. Rabbits are pretty good barbecued.

Something that worked for me was walking the dogs and giving negative reinforcement if they tried going after animals (my dogs used to be bad about getting ahold of cats in the backyard.) Also I'd pet the cats and let my dog see I considered them as more than chew toys and believe it or not that actually started working after a month or so to the point they'd still bark at cats but would not attack them.

i guess its their nature. Maybe you could fence the dogs to a certain area, or fence off the rabbit grounds.

Other than confining them inside, I do not think you can. That is pretty much what dogs do. A better question you should probably be asking is, ''How do I keep these rabbits from coming into my yard.''
